Mousehole is one of the prettiest harbours in Cornwall. During Christmas it is lit by models of sea creatures and other old-fashioned lightings that adorn the village lanes and harbour walls. 17th of December is the date when the lights are officially switched on.

Feadon farm is a great place for people who love to see wildlife. It is located at the top of the hill above a seaside village called Portreath. Here visitors will find tamed foxes, reptiles, furry animals, birds of prey and a number of activities to introduce you to the native wildlife.

Generally surfers go to the beach during the summer months but serious surfers generally hit the coast during the winter when the waves are a lot bigger. North Cornwall is the place for some amazing and serious surfing with the full force of the Atlantic running onto the shore. The stand-up rate recorded at the Surf Academies in St Ives is as high as 92%. The Academies here have some of the world's best teachers for all abilities.

If you're not really excited by the prospect of surfing or spending time at the beach then you can enjoy the many things to see and do in Cornwell. If you enjoy theatre then you can visit the famous open-air Minack Theatre. The theatre is well known for playing some of the most amazing dramas both old and new.

Old areas of mining, like Poldark, are now being maintained as learning resources and entertainment venues.
